Welcome to the home page for the Potomac River Safety Committee (PRSC), a volunteer organization made up of representitives from:

- Potomac Boat Club (PBC)
- Thompson Boat Center (TBC)
- Virginia Scholastic Rowing Association (VASRA)
- Washington Canoe Club (WCC)
- Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Rowing Association (WMIRA)
The goal of the organization is to educate coaches, coxswains, rowers, scullers, and paddlers on the safe usage of the river. The PRSC has drafted a booklet of rules and guidelines for the safe usage of the "Georgetown" area of the Potomac River to help in this education process.
